If you are younger than 18, we will not share your family name or location when your story is published on this website. For your privacy and protection, we will remove these details from your story if you have included them, and to protect your anonymity we may remove other details.
If you would like some guidelines on where to start in telling your story, here are some questions to consider:
Where did you grow up? What was life like for you and what did you enjoy the most about it?
What were the circumstances that led you to be forced from your home?
What was life like in the transition from your home to the U.S.? What were the first few months in the U.S. like?
What led you to start your business? (if applicable)
What are you hoping and dreaming about for the future?
